Business Visa
OVERVIEW
For business people who wish to visit Thailand for business purposes, for example, to attend a conference or training session, to conduct business with a Thailand-based organisation, to conduct business negotiations or for an exploratory business visit, you may apply for a Non-immigrant "B" visa before entering Thailand. The Non–immigrant “B” visa has 2 categories:
- Single entry visa will allow you to stay up to 90 days in Thailand and is valid for 3 months.
- Multiple entries visa will allow you to stay up to 90 days in Thailand on each visit and is valid for multiple entries within 12 months.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Update on 29 March 2012
- An applicant must hold a valid Australian Permanent or Temporary Resident visa However, some certain categories of visas are not accepted, for example, Business short stay visa 456, Visitor visa and etc.
- FORM B; Visa processing time takes up to 3 weeks excluding the day of lodgment. (Iraq and Afghanistan may take up to 2 months)
- There is NO URGENT PROCESSING VISA.
YOUR VISA APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED IF…
- Your passport or travel document is valid less than 6 months before you lodge your visa application.
- Your given details are not correctly and clearly completed and your visa application form is not signed by yourself
- If all the required documents are not submitted.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- An Original passport or travel document or certificate of identity with validity not less than 6 months;
- Three (3) copies of the passport or travel document (personal detail page);
- Three (3) copies of a valid Australian Permanent or Temporary Resident visa (with your current Bridging Visa if applicable);
- Three (3) fully completed and signed visa application forms FORM B. All three forms must be completely filled out. (Photocopy is not acceptable);
- Three (3) recent Australian passport size (3.5x4.5cm) photographs (attach 1 per application) taken within last 6 months without wearing glasses or headgear (photocopy not acceptable);
- Three (3) copies of airline ticket or itinerary confirming date of your entry;
- Three (3) copies of confirmed accommodation under your name or an invitation letter from a reference person in Thailand that clearly state the address where he/she is staying with photocopies of his/her ID card or proof of residence in Thailand;
- Three (3) photocopies of ID card or other acceptable ID card (student card, agency ID card, driver’s license) issued by Australian authorities;
- Three (3) verification letter (1 original and 2 copies), if...
Single Entry:
- Three (3) verification letter (1 original and 2 copies) from your employer stating your position, length of employment, dates and purposes of visits; or an invitation letter from concerned company/organisation in Thailand stating dates and purposes of visits;
Multiple Entries:
- Three (3) verification letter (1 original and 2 copies) from your employer stating your position, length of employment, dates and purposes of visit
- Three (3) verification letter (1 original and 2 copies) from concerned company/organisation in Thailand stating dates and purposes of visits;Three (3) copies of concerned company/organisation's registration or license in Thailand.
- Three (3) copies of corporate documents of associated partners/companies in Thailand such as:
1) list of shareholders
2) company profile
3) details of business operation
4) map indicating location of the company
5) balance sheet, statement of Income Tax and Business Tax (Por Ngor Dor 50 and Por Ngor Dor 30) of the latest year
VISA APPLICATION PROCESSING FEE
- Non-immigration visa fee is AUD $90 for single entry; AUD $225 for multiple entries.
VALIDITY OF VISA
- Single entry; The validity of visa is 3 months as shown on the ENTER BEFORE date on a visa sticker. That means you must enter Thailand before that date.
- Multiple entries; The validity of visa is 12 months as shown on the ENTER BEFORE date on a visa sticker. That means you must enter Thailand before that date.
VALIDITY OF STAY
- You will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 60 days per entry.
- Important note: The permission to enter the country depends on the discretion of immigration officers at any immigration checkpoints.
- Period of stay to be granted are determined by the immigration authorities upon arrival.

To Apply Visa On Arrival Passenger Must:
- Have the purpose to traveling in the Kingdom for
not over than 15 days
- Have genuine and valid passport or document used in lieu of passport
- Present the proper ticket that indicate the time to stay and leave the
Kingdom within 15 days
- Not be prohibited by the Immigration Act B.E.2522 (section 12, 14 and 16)
- Carry money not less than 10,000 baht (Approx. 335 AUD) for one person and
not less than 20,000 baht (Approx. 650 AUD) for one family
Things to prepare:
- One recent passport size photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm.)
- Passport which validity not less than 6 months
- Ticket to stay and leave the Kingdom within 15 days
- A proof of accomodation in the Kingdom
- Money 10,000 baht (Approx. 335 AUD) for one person and not less than 20,000
baht (Approx. 670 AUD) for one family
- Filled in application form
- Application fee 1,000 baht (Thai money only)
Please note that you cannot file an application for extension of stay except
in special cases such as illness which prevents them from travelling, etc. If

N.B. For those who hold travel documents for aliens, namely; alien
passport or C.I. could not apply for this temporary tourist visa at the

Transit Visa
OVERVIEW
This type of visa will be issued to applicants who
wish to enter Thailand for the following purposes:
- To travel in transit (category "TS") through the Thailand or
at the airport exceeding 12 hours in order to proceed to a third country of
destination or to re-enter your own country

- To participate in sports activities (category "S")

If you wish to enter Thailand for employment purposes, you may apply for a Non-immigrant “B” visa before entering Thailand. The Non–immigrant “B” visa has 2 categories:

- An Original passport or travel document or certificate of identity with validity not less than 6 months;
- Three (3) copies of the passport or travel document (personal detail page);
- Three (3) copies of a valid Australian Permanent or Temporary Resident visa (with your current Bridging Visa if applicable);
- Three (3) fully completed and signed visa application forms FORM B; All three forms must be completely filled out. (Photocopy is not acceptable);
- Three (3) recent Australian passport size (3.5x4.5cm) photographs (attach 1 per application) taken within last 6 months without wearing glasses or headgear (photocopy not acceptable);
- Three (3) copies of airline ticket or itinerary confirming date of your entry
- Three (3) copies of proof of relationship between yourself and your spouse or family member i.e. birth certificate, marriage certificate, house registration;
- Three (3) copies from your spouse or family member verifying the current status of relationship and support for your visa application

- Non-immigration visa fee is AUD $90 for single entry; AUD $225 for multiple entries.
VALIDITY OF VISA
- Single entry; The validity of visa is 3 months as shown on the ENTER BEFORE date on a visa sticker. That means you must enter Thailand before that date.
- Multiple entries; The validity of visa is 12 months as shown on the ENTER BEFORE date on a visa sticker. That means you must enter Thailand before that date.
VALIDITY OF STAY
- You will be permitted to stay in Thailand for a period of not exceeding 60 days per entry.

Thai National Visiting Visa
OVERVIEW
If you currently hold or had a Thai citizenship, you may apply for a Non-immigrant “O” visa before entering Thailand. The Non–immigrant “o” visa has 2 categories:
- Single entry visa will allow you to stay up to 90 days in Thailand and is valid for 3 months.
- Multiple entries visa will allow you to stay up to 90 days in Thailand on each visit and is valid for multiple entries within 12 months.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Update on 29 March 2012
- An applicant must hold a valid Australian Permanent or Temporary Resident visa However, some certain categories of visas are not accepted, for example, Business short stay visa 456, Visitor visa and etc.
- FORM B; Visa processing time takes up to 3 weeks excluding the day of lodgment. (Iraq and Afghanistan may take up to 2 months)
- There is NO URGENT PROCESSING VISA.

- Your passport or travel document is valid less than 6 months before you lodge your visa application.
- Your given details are not correctly and clearly completed and your visa application form is not signed by yourself
- If all the required documents are not submitted.
